Smart City Tech Seminar Between Vietnam & South Korea on October 16
Da Nang is planning to become a ‘smart city’ and the first in Vietnam to join the ASEAN ‘smart’ city network by 2030. This October, the city, and e-Government technology seminar with the overarching theme of “Case Studies, and Latest Technology Trends of Intelligent e-Government, and Smart City System.” One of the main highlights will be the knowledge sharing sessions on innovative technologies, and solutions between South Korea’s renowned IT corporates, and Vietnam’s emerging IT corporates.

The Technology seminar will be co-hosted by SRPOST CO., LTD – Korea enterprise, and our company, TECHNOCOM. It is our great honor to welcome you to the TECHNOLOGY SEMINAR, which will be taking place in Grand Mercure, Danang on October 16, 2019, under the theme of “Case Study, and Latest Technology Trends of Intelligent e-Government, and Smart City System”.

We expect a guest lecturer from Seoul Metropolitan Government, and Smart City, and e-Government experts from various IT corporates, members of the KOSMIC (Korea Small & Medium IT Business Export Cooperative). The event offers a one-day program full of diverse knowledge-sharing sessions, the latest technologies and solutions, and learning experiences. Participants will not only hear various insights on the advancement of innovated Smart City and e-Government but will also be able to contribute to the important dialogues taking place during the panel discussion.
Finally, there will be a networking tour between Vietnamese enterprises and Korean enterprises on the following day of Oct 17th, 2019 this will give delegates a chance to network with each other in a friendly environment, especially in IT field.

1. Why this time we collaborate with South Korean partners instead of those from the US or Europe?
Firstly, South Korea is at the leading edge of efforts to pioneer innovation-led urban hubs in Asia. Secondly, though Danang city has attracted numerous Korean travelers, there’s not much collaboration and connections between Vietnam and the country in terms of Information technology. Therefore, as tech firms, DataHouse and Srport want to create a bridge for enterprises from two nations to connect and gain mutual learning. However, we also want to collaborate with US or Europe partners in the future.
2. Why we choose Smart City and Intelligent E-Government as the key theme for this seminar?

Besides, South Korea is at the leading edge of efforts to pioneer innovation-led urban hubs in Asia. We believe this seminar would greatly contribute to the development of Danang city.

There will be time for you to join a networking lunch as a representative for your company to meet about 50 leaders and managers from Danang and Seoul at the event and you can also actively invite other corporates to visit your company.
4. Will I need to pay any costs for the event?
No, KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) will be sponsoring to cover related event costs for us, so you don’t need to pay any costs.
