Happy World Entrepreneur’s Day

Every year, August 21 is the WED: World Entrepreneurs’ Day. The purpose of the World Entrepreneurs’ Day is to create awareness for entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership throughout the world. WED is the perfect day to celebrate the people who start a business alone. WED is the day of founders, managers, producers, contractors, industrialists, innovators, administrators, designers and producers.

What kinds of business should you start?

EaaS – Engineering as a Service.

EaaS offers engineering services in such a way that you collaborate with your clients to deliver engineering development on projects base. This is what we are doing at DataHouse.

SaaS – Software as a Service

SaaS providers offer fully functional web-based application software tailored to a variety of business needs such as project tracking, web conferencing, marketing automation or business analytics.

You can imagine of: Google Apps, Microsoft Office 365, Gmail, Yahoo, and Facebook.

PaaS – Platform as a Service

PaaS is the cloud solution where, apart from providing infrastructure, cloud providers also issue an on-demand computing environment to develop, test, run and collaborate with components such as web servers, database management systems, and software development kits (SDKs) for various programming languages.

Naming a few PaaS: AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Heroku, Windows Azure,, Google App Engine.

IaaS – Information as a Service

IaaS is the most basic level of cloud-based solutions, which refers to renting an IT infrastructure as a fully outsourced service. In this category, the cloud provider lets you rent servers, VMs, storage, network, and operating systems on a pay-as-you-go basis.

Examples can be: Amazon EC2 and S3, Google Compute Engine, Windows Azure.
