Coding for Survival!
It has been a challenging time lately with notable events around the world and the lasting effects of Covid-19. Even though we are blessed to be living in Vietnam and working in this software industry, we have been impacted by those world challenges. The world is becoming more connected but this comes both good and bad experiences that spread faster than ever around the world.
We recently organized an event named 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲: 𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥. The purpose of this event was to acknowledge the difficulties of the past but to provide hope for the future by showcasing our growing and united team’s talents and efforts. The main topics we went through were shared by our professional keynote speakers who are also technical leaders and experts in the IT field.
The first topic on the agenda was called “’Tik-Tok Software Delivery”, delivered by Mr. Trinh Dang, our Chief Technology Officer (CTO) here at DataHouse. He shared his expertise on “How to Overcome Small Business Challenges and Dealing with Project Deadlines”.
The next esteemed speaker was Mr. Srikanth Sharma, our Service Delivery Manager (SDM). He shared the experience of how we were able to successfully deliver the milestone of a 200-person project which came with challenges but were overcome with professionalism and humor. He also shared how we were able to provide housing for our employees as we were growing.
Finally, we were treated to the experience and wisdom of our Mr. Huy Nguyen, the Managing Partner who shared the importance of having a “Growth Mindset” in order to be successful.
DataHouse Tech Arena Office Discovery
After these two main topics were delivered, we provided an inclusive office tour to our guests who got to discover every corner of DataHouse Tech Arena.
Key Takeaways & Panel Discussion
As previously mentioned, the main purpose of this event was to provide valuable insights into technology. We ended the Open Day by having a panel discussion between speakers and guests. Some of the guests left us with many interesting questions and were able to receive direct answers from our panel.
Together we shared our skillsets on how to face the challenges that come with dealing with rushed deadlines and the delivery of real projects. If you were present, we’d love to know which office corner left an impression on you?
Thank you for making this Open Day: Coding for Survival even more special with your presence !
