Business Development Representative (Australian market)

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for Business Development Representative to expand our reach in Australia. The role is commission-based, with a very generous profit share structure that has unlimited earning potential. Previous sales experience and knowledge of the IT sector are preferred.

The purpose of a Business Development Representative is to promote and sell Software Development Services for DataHouse Asia Software Consulting. Your role will be to identify and qualify new sales opportunities, collaborate with our Sales team in Vietnam to grow DataHouse Asia sales in Australia.

The ideal candidate will cultivate relationships with prospective clients in order to catalyze business development success. This individual will schedule meetings with clients in order to understand their needs. They will also work closely with sales and marketing teams to uncover new leads.

What are your responsibilities?


Generate appointments by means of proactive outbound prospecting


Work directly with sales and marketing to discover opportunities from leads


Demonstrate and teach strong selling and influencing skills

Do you meet these criteria?

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in software tech sales
  • Track record of strong software development sales performance 
  • Ability to interact with all levels of a business up to C-Suite
  • Ability to build and present executive-level slide decks for your customers.
  • Attention to detail
  • Structured and methodical sales process.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
